Let’s have some Ombre! For our client’s daughters bedroom, the linen ombre drapery is visually exciting and set the tone for the color scheme in this sitting area. Soft velvets, faux fur, silks and a great oversized nail head tape on the bottom of the custom day bed. The daughter is still of an age she needs the room “sleep over ready” or “not in the bed nap time ready”.

Home offices are more important now than ever before. But everyone has their own preference for how they want to work. Some clients want total privacy. Some don’t want to be sequestered into an enclosed room. But available space is usually the driving factor behind home office design.
This fantastic post-and-beam home in the Hollywood Hills, for example, has a large room just perfect for a built-in desk area, which fits the way its owner likes to work amid the bustle of the home.
For this remodel, we attached and converted the existing garage. The space became a multi-purpose room with a functional corner desk area. It acts as a media room, too.
When the work day is done, the kitchen/bar area is right there, making it easy to grab a refreshing drink or snack. The kitchen is also ideally designed for the way this client likes to entertain. It keeps guests nearby for socialization but keeps them out of the way while meals are being prepared. Share with someone who is working from home and needs inspiration!
